In co-operation with the Johannes Kepler University of Linz (Austria) and the Thammasat University (Thailand), the Austrian Association of East-Asian Studies is organising an international summer school in Thailand.
Time: 23 August – 19 September 2008
Venue: Thammasat University, Bangkok
Program outline:
Lectures are held at Thammasat University, the working language is English. The program comprises a three-week course (Monday through Friday, six units a day, totaling 90 units) and a scheduled trip to historic sites in week 4.

ICAS 6 will be held from 6 -9 August 2009 and will be hosted by the Chungnam National University (CNU), the Center for Asian Regional Studies (CARS) and Daejeon Metropolitan City. It will be held in the Daejeon Conventon and Visitor’s Bureau. The overarching theme is: Think Asia! Submission of abstracts and panels is possible as of 15 March 2008 at the ICAS website. Please note that all abstracts and presentations should be in English.
