:: Presentations:

Participants can give their presentations either in German or English. Nevertheless, we kindly encourage all participants to present in English in order to give also our non-German speaking attendees the chance to benefit from your presentation. Presentations should not exceed 20 minutes and leave another 10 minutes for discussions in the plenum.

:: Submitting revised abstracts & power point files:

Please submit your revised abstracts – if you wish to do so – by the end of April, as we will make them accessible in the login-area for speakers at the beginning of May.

If you are planning on using a power-point presentation for your presentation we ask you to please submit your file beforehand in order to guarantee a smooth conduct of the presentations (best one week before the conference the latest). Submitted presentation files will be added continuously – please notify us in case of any objections against adding your presentation files in the login-area.

:: Paper submission ASEAS:

We do not require the submission of a conference paper. Optionally, successful conference contributions can be submitted to the Austrian Journal of South-East Asian Studies (ASEAS). Publication of submitted proposals underlies a separate review process independent of the conference. Find more information on submission guidelines here.
