1 - Islam and Democracy - Lecture on July 15

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Vienna In cooperation with the Institute for Social Anthropology – Austrian Academy of Sciences, the ÖIIP (Austrian Institute for International Affairs) and SEAS invites you to the following seminar

ISLAM AND DEMOCRACY: INDONESIAN PERSPECTIVE AND EXPERIENCE

Presentations are held by a mixed panel of Indonesian and Austrian Experts.

"The Politics of Islam in a Democratizing Indonesia as seen by Western Observers", "Islam and Democracy in Indonesia: Historical and Cultural Perspective", "Islam and Democracy in Indonesia: The Role of Moslem Groups and Moslem-based Political Party in the Strengthening of Democratic Value and System" and other presentations.

An Indonesian Buffet will be provided afterwards.
